Description
Koh Tao Cabana is situated on the best and secluded land on Sai Ree Beach. On this escape resort, the initial effort to preserve the untouched surrounding nature. With its countless coconut grove trees swaying in the tropical breeze and its endless long, white beach, not to mention a sensuous, laid-back way of life, it is a perfect retreat from the heady experience of so much of Thailand. Out here, life takes on a slower pace with the promise of an untold adventure. The bungalows are immaculate, only 33 villas were built hidden into the tropical trees and among the inhabitated birds and monkeys,well-decorated and very comfortable, with open-air bathrooms. While an occasional lack of attention to detail shows through bed lamps on the side of the bed without powerpoints. This is one of the best luxury spots to stay on the island. Huge bungalows run out along the northern end of Haad Sairee and along the rocky headland.

About Koh Tao:
Koh Tao is a small island to the north of Koh Pha-ngan, which can be reached either from Surat Thani or Chumphon. There are several beautiful beaches and coral reefs around the island. Simple bungalows are available. Koh Tao was once a place where political prisoners were detained. The nearby Koh Nang Yuan is a coral island with a high viewpoint and long white sandy beaches.
Thailand's third largest island has grown over the years into a sophisticated international resort, yet it still retains its island magic. Areas like Bophut, Big Buddha Beach and Menam offer a tranquil retreat, but if you prefer more action, head for Lamai or Chaweng - where you'll find Samui's bustling nightlife and shopping areas. Many hotels and resorts have direct beachfront access and restaurants overlooking the sea - the ultimate beach holiday.
